Hi all, We have released our first attempt at modelling demand-responsive/flexible route buses using SUMO on GitHub: https://github.com/naronald/SUMOoD.
Our plan was to present this at SUMO2014, however unfortunately none of our team was able to travel to Berlin. We are interested in feedback and suggestions for further work. Initial thoughts include improving travel time estimation, implementing better optimisation and creating a new SUMO vehicle type that can handle non-direct routes.
