Hi Amir,
Simpla creates platoons under the given circumstances:
* the leader vehicle and following ones belong to the vehicle types
allowed to platoon
* the leader is no more than a configurable distance ahead
* vehicles' routes overlap is long enough to justify platooning
You find settings regarding these conditions in the simpla config. Please
refer to the SUMO docs for details.

I have a question about Sampla platooning. what is the process of
platooning or what is the platooning formulation because I did not find any
technical report or paper about how Simpla works. I want to know how Simpla
creates platoons.
