I tried to reply to the "pappus" original message but this this was
"bounced" as undeliverable so my thoughts to John Carmicahel are given below:
The issue that got me interested in sundials and I still haven't resolved in
my mind to my complete satisfaction is "Can you explain the origins on the
"Equation of Time" ?" and the allied question "Please explain the Anelma"
While I think of it how about describing astronomical terms such as Right
Ascension and Hour Angle
