Good shot!
I'd take issue only with 'orrery' (which I'd call OR-reh-ree) and 'nadir' 
(for which I say NAY-deer).  But it is certainly appropriate to include 
pronounciations.
If possible, a diagram or photo of each (major) type of dial would be 
another help, especially for people like me who think in audio rather 
than visual terms.  I can remember when, years ago, I first saw an 
analemmatic dial "in the flesh" at Winterthur Gardens, and being amazed 
that it worked!  Until then, it was only a theory for me.
Another thing -- even for the more accomplished:  please include 
something about the sign of the EOT.  I wish we could all agree on the 
issue, and the confusion of + or - would disappear.
