I had a zebra-striped monstera plant for a similar reason.  Placed 
adjacent to a multi-lens-patterned glass window.

There's a good example of the Campbell-Stokes instrument in Morpeth King 
Edward VI High School weather station  (Northumberland UK) - presented to 
the school so not for sale.  JPEG on request (although this may take a 
few days as the school is currenly on holiday)
