Jones, I kept expecting Jed's character to resurface and go into
raptures about the C-ment Pond!
Same thing for Matlock, they just were too
typecast to do much else, Opie as victim, Goober/Barney/Floyd as a
perps!
Funny that, I don't remember expecting to see
Godzilla (or even ernest Japanese scientists) to pop up in the Mason series,
but did expect Burr to do something Mason-like on Mod Squad!
