Is ferric chloride the same chemical used to etch circuit boards? If so, could one not also use the resist pen for circuit boards on brass? >By the way does anybody knows how to get color into the negatively etched >lines (or for that matter engraved lines). > This is something I've been wanting to know as well, but I wonder how well the color will hold up under long term exposure to weather. >Finally does anybody think we should form a newsgroup? > I think a newsgroup would be wonderful! Then we could exchange binary files such as programs and pictures. Also, we might attract more diallists as I think a newsgroup would be more visible on the net than this mailing list. I've always wondered though; how does one go about setting up a newsgroup? Does anyone know?
