I have three to recommend. The first two are in the NASS Registry, but
the last is not.

(1) Franklin Mint, Franklin Center, Penn. (about 15 miles W of Philadelphia
on Rte. 1, on the south side of the highway, just outside the Museum) - an
elaborate, large equatorial dial

(2) Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Penn. (about 30 miles W of
Philadelphia on Rte. 1, on the north side of the highway) - a large
analemmatic dial in a large, formal garden setting; the design has some
non-standard features (see article by K. Seidelmann in "Sky & Telescope" ca
1978)

(3) Swarthmore College, Swarthmore, Penn. (about 10 miles SW of
Philadelphia) - on the campus of this small, excellent college is a new
(1995) building called Kohlberg Hall, with a very attractive, semi-abstract
(but accurate), large wall dial.

Happy dial hunting!
