The dial is on a school
near Spanish Harlem in New York City (Lat. 58.5 Lon. 73). The only contact I have so far is a
school administrator - I have written him asking for the orientation of the
wall.
The dial was originally
defined (apparently by the designer) as a 'heliochronometer'. Since somebody is
going to be disappointed I am keeping things anonymous.
I have put the anwers so
far on the original webpage which is not permanent, only for discussion.
