I have not asked the Bremen cows yet as we had lovely -6°C spring time temperatures in the morning and I preferred to stay inside the house It seems to me that the summertime-experts spread their nonsense similarly as the save and cheap atomic-power-experts. One cannot compare these experts? Why not?
We have to stand up and demonstrate also against this dst-nonsense. How about adding an appendix Ceterum censeo to all our statements? Frank King will tell us perhaps a nice sounding Latin expression?! I wonder who is treated as a fool: TV journalists, cows or I. I share the opinion that from ancient time till now any government in any country uses the calendar, holidays dates and time kipping method for manipulating the population only. I wonder, is the year-round DST a useful time measuring method indeed or, as usual and for government sake, we just were not informed about some important details? By the way, when we all discussed the year-round DST I (as a sundial maker) tried to lobby for a proposal to render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to decree two time measure systems. One of them is a state one. Let government regulates industry, army, airline schedule etc according GMT. The other is a private one. The rest of time related question we quite can solve with true solar time measure method. Of course, my proposal had been spurned. But you imagine how many customers it might bring to all of us.
