Can someone do a compare-and-contrast
with other ancient Egyptian dials?

---------------------

this dial is similar to the other 5 little dials with radiating lines from Egypt. the most antique till now was the sundial found at Gezer (13th c. BC), but also the one in Bruxelles comes from the time more or less (it dates back to a date between 1580 to 1085 BC), both are divided in 12 sectors. The Berlin one is from the 1th c. BC and the other two (the one found in Meroe and the one at the Louvre Museum) are 11 divided and are dated back around the 1th c. AD). No one is dotted for the half hours.
