Yes, you can do that. Basically, you only need to get a routed connection
between your home subnet and the Ray server(s). Whatever means you use is
up to you. I use a Cisco VPN concentrator and a HW client, but you could
also use IPSec between e.g. a Linux box and a router, or GRE protected by
some other means, or...
You also have to have some way of getting a DHCP address to the Ray,
either IP Helper or a local DHCP server. AFAIK in the latest and greatest
firmware you can also assign a fixed address to the Ray.
