So here is what we get:

sudo utquery -d 10.43.133.50
terminalID=0003badc296d
        terminalIPA=10.43.133.50
        model=CoronaP7
        Subnet=255.255.254.0
        Router=10.43.132.1
        LeaseTim=86400
        BarrierLevel=0
        DHCPServer=129.46.132.28
        AuthSrvr=10.43.12.12
        FwSrvr=10.43.12.10
        NewTVer=3.1_32,REV=2005.08.24.08.55
        parmsVersion=3.1_120879-03_2006.04.03.16.51
        parmsBarrier=310
        parmsBarrierLevel=310
        currentAuth=10.43.12.115
        currentFW=3.1_120879-03_2006.04.03.16.51
        currentBarrier=310
        currentBarrierLevel=310
AltAuth=10.43.12.52,10.43.12.55,10.43.12.58,10.43.12.61,10.43.12.64,10.4 3.12.67,10.43.12.70,10.43.12.73,10.43.12.76,10.43.12.79
        dnsList=10.43.4.212,10.43.6.212
        dname=qualcomm.com.

The older files still exist, but are linked to with the CoronaP7

I did this at another site and we didn't have this issue.

I am in the process of removing all the NewTVer and Barrierlevels out from our DHCP server, to see if that has any effect.

It won't use the .parms file if it receives the vendor specific stuff from DHCP.

Maybe it's trying to download the older version and failing.

Can you run a utquery on one of them to see what it got from DHCP?

We use a central dhcp server. It still has the older firmware in the NewTVer.
But we also use the .parms file which has the newver version.
Note that only the tftpboot server is currently running the 3.1 -03 firmware.

tftp works fine. I can grab the file. It appears to be a problem installing after download.

How are you configuring your Sun Rays? (DHCP, DNS name, option 66, etc) The 1G's shouldn't be downloading this firmware file, the P7 file is for the 170s
Can you tftp any firmware file from another machine?

I am getting the follwing errors when a sunray tries to download it's firmware.

sr-san-31p1.qualcomm.com -> dhcp10-43-132-7.qualcomm.com TFTP Error: access violation

The file it is trying to grab is:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root sys 303555 Jul 2 11:15 CoronaP7-3.1_120879-03_2006.04.03.16.51

It appears to only be effecting my SunRay 1g's.

Thanks
