Oh, and you don't need a PostScript capable printer if you have
Solaris 10, as long as you can find a working PPD driver for
your printer.  I use an HP 7350 which is a relatively
cheap/simple printer.  I had less luck with an Epson Stylus
C86 for some reason (the C85 PPD *claimed* to be
compatible, but this didn't seem to be the case).  YMMV.

This works very well, especially if you connect a PostScript-capable
printer. I've been using an old DTU connected to a Lexmark Optra e312
(a cheap PostScript laser printer) on a Solaris print queue for a few
years now.

But it's also unnecessary.  If you have a print queue, it doesn't matter
if somebody is logged in or not, you can print to it.
