Im trying to run an application in a Linux Sunray, but it doesnt display

i've been trying to modify the default depth (24) to 16 but i cant, i also
tried with "utxconfig -p on" to get the PseudoColor but it doesnt help
either.
The 8-bit PseudoColor visual is available only on Solaris. It
depends on an X server library that is not yet available for
Xorg, which is the basis for Xnewt.
Is it possible to get a depth below 24 bit ?
No. On Linux only a single 24-bit TrueColor visual is
available.
