All tree Servers are in the samesubnet. In the Loginscreen i can see all three servers.
Are you saying that you can see them in a 'utselect' dialogue box that is posted before you see the actual login greeter?
But we can connect only to the sol9 hosts - if we will login to the sol10 host then nothing happens.
What does "nothing happens" mean? Does the choice of session type(CDE, JDS, Failsafe, ...) on the S10 machine make any difference?
Is it possible to mix Sol9 and Sol10 Hosts? Twice have srss3.1 .
Yes, you can mix Solaris releases. But just because Sun ray allows it doesn't mean that it's a good idea to do that. S9 and S10 have different versions of the JDS (Gnome) desktop and different versions of several important applications, and if you share a home directory between the two servers you can end up with compatibility problems between those desktop and application versions. The next release of SRSS will require Solaris 10 (actually S10u3) so you should plan to upgrade the S9 machines in the near future. OttoM. __ ottomeister Disclaimer: These are my opinions.
