Hi Otto, yes, i see a loginscreen but i cant login. I try the local root/password but it dont work. I try a testuser (su is possible) but the screen switches a short time black and then i see the loginmask again. Im a little bit confused about that.
Do you have an idea? Thank again 2007/6/29, ottomeister <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

OK, that means that the Sun Ray unit is being attached to the Sun Ray services on the S10 machine. > But i think we have an other problem. If this was a brand new S10 install (not an upgrade from some earlier Solaris release) then it is probably configured according to the new "secure by default" rules. Under those rules the X login service will be configured to not even listen for remote X logins. That would explain why 'Remote Login' and Reflection don't work. If you want to allow that then you need to use 'svccfg' to tell the login service to listen for remote X connections. That shouldn't affect Sun Ray though, because its X servers are not remote, they are local to the S10 machine. Do you get a login dialogue when your Sun Ray connects to the S10 machine? If you don't even get that then it's possible that the X login service is not running. Use 'svcs -a' to check its status; the service name is something like "svc:/application/graphical-login/cde-login". Also make sure that you have the latest dtlogin patch installed on the S10 system; there is at least one S10 problem relevant to Sun Ray that is fixed in that patch. If you do get a login dialogue on the Sun Ray then what happens if you choose 'Failsafe Session' from the Options->Session_Type menu and then try to log in?
