Xinerama is taking 2 screens (i.e two different pieces of glass) and
turning them into one "screen. The 2FS is always presented as one
screen, or one piece of glass. Multihead need not be xinerama, you can
have two separate workspaces. The 2FS cannot do that type of multihead,
unless of course you have two of them.

Dear list,
Looking at some Sun marketing material the 2FS has dual-head capability which
is "Similar" to Xinerama.
Looking at other material, it has dual-head capability which *is* Xinerama.
Looking at this list, it seems it has/had dual-head capability without Xinerama.
Except for one user who uses twm (which does not have Xinerama support), people
here would be pretty annoyed with a multi-head desktop that does not have
Xinerama support.
What is the status? If I buy a 2FS, will multi-head support work with Xinerama
aware applications, or will I need to buy sets of 2's using multi-head groups
(as I do with 1G's today) to get proper Xinerama multi-head?
Thank you very much,
