Since you have to have power for the monitor anyway, what's the big attraction of PoE for your deployments?
In my environment, we use PoE powered VoIP phones, so we have the switches already setup do deal with power.
The main attraction would be cable management and aesthetics. One less power cord (with power brick) to deal with, track and not lose. It would also have the side effect of often negating the need for a power strip since only the monitor would need to be plugged in. (besides, when you consider the size of the power cords that Sun ships with the kit.... can they get any thicker?)
Overall, its not a deal breaker, but it is a nice feature. --john _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
