Opening a support case worked. This issue is fixed in Nevada but
won't be fixed in Solaris 10 unless somebody can raise a business case
for it. Also according to the support person, the file
/etc/gconf/schemas/metacity.schemas is where they key definitions can
be changed for all users. In fact, there are only two lines different
between this file on Solaris 10 SPARC and Solaris 10 x86; those two
lines define the [Front] and [Open] keys. I haven't tried their
suggestions yet.
