You may already do this, but before I allow a SRSS server to "serve", I rename 
the firmware directory firmware-non-gui.  I then create a "firmware" softlink 
to the firmware-gui directory.  

This allows me to point my clients to the firmware server and get the latest 
release without worry of getting the non-gui firmware..
