Rather than moving directories around in the installed directory, it's probably better to use the utfwadm command to select the GUI firmware and populate /tftpboot with the one you're after. For example, in the case of externally managed DHCP rather than the built-in DHCP....

utfwadm -f /opt/SUNWut/lib/firmware_gui -A -a -V
