I've been looking for options for having our SunRays get a remote linux desktop session. The ultimate goal would be for users to be presented with the option of selecting a Windows or linux desktop when they login. Right now, we just use uttsc as the default kiosk app.

I've been searching through the archives and on the wiki and on the ThinkThin blog and have found references to using xnest and VNC. Is there a howto out there some where that might describe the setup and caveats for a remote linux desktop?

Worst case I could just have a separate linux server hosting SRSS for one lab and just leaving uttsc on my current Sol10 server hosting my other lab. This basically would eliminate the possibility of a "dual-boot" setup, though.

Thanks.
Seth
