Hi
We use SunRays in a very similar environment.
The black screen issues drove everyone round the twist, especially when
senior management ask us "Why are there no Catalogue Terminals working"
The only way was to disable the screen blanker on the terminals.
We Run this at startup as an executable.
#!/bin/bash
sleep 15
/usr/openwin/bin/xset -dpms -fbpm s off
As a suggestion, if you have a FOG, run the script on just 1 of the servers
so only 1/2 of them go to sleep. When we did this we got complaints that 1/2
the terminals were not working, an improvement but....
