There was also a short period of time when you didn't need an RTU license and you could get a free license for SGD too. That was only for a few weeks iirc, then Sun Ray and SGD became "non-free" again.
I'd think it would be simpler just to roll the cost of SRSS into the DTU cost, which is what happens if you buy from the Sun Store anyways, but what do I know.
