sun box: Solaris10 Sunray4.0
linux box: ubuntu 8.04
           ssh: OpenSSH_4.7p1
           xorg: 1.4.0.90

Hello,

we have a mix of Solaris and Linux boxs. But when a solaris sunray station do a
ssh -X u...@linux_box kate
ssh -X u...@linux_box gedit
or
whatever else commands which uses a X client, we get a slow refresh of the client on the X server of the sunray.

Trying to analyze this, we've seen that the eth0 of the linux box goes very very high loaded on such situation.

This is quite surprising, when we are used to do X forwarding with ssh since age and that our network is a Gigabit one with powerfull router.

When we try to do the same between two linux box, we get a very responsive gui interface with a low load on the network. And we get also very good response between the sunray servers.

Since we do not have any idea of where to start, we'd like to know what could provides such issue.

Thanks in advance

cEd
