hi list,

i've tried to set a keyboard layout following the instructions in http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg11851.html . without success. as the described step is modifying the dhcp setup, i would guess the information are provided via the srss's dhcp server. checking the status of the (working) sun ray client, i get 34b on the OSD. admin guide says, b stands for "DCHP provided IP address, subnet mask, and router, but Sun Ray vendor-specific parameters are missing.". so i think the sun ray doesn't get the dhcp information from srss (and thus, not the keyboard layout). i'm using solaris 10 5/09 (fresh installation) and srss 4.1 (patch not applied atm). srss is configured for a shared subnet. utquery gives me

# /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utquery 192.168.0.5
terminalID=0003ba6b9d14
        terminalIPA=192.168.0.5
