As of SRSS 4.1, one can specify the type(country code) of the keyboard in the .parms file.
See: - the release notes of SRSS 4.1 - the SRSS 4.1 admin guide - utfwadm(1M) # cat /root/home.parms kbcountry=32 # utfwadm -A -e 00:14:4f:57:44:1d -i /root/home.parms Unit "00144F57441D" will be upgraded at its next power-on if it is served by host "perugia" and is connected to the network and is not already running firmware version "4.1_50_2008.09.25.12.37". ### stopped DHCP daemon ### started DHCP daemon ### reinitialized DHCP daemon -Bart [email protected] wrote:
Hi, I am not able to get some generic PC USB keyboards work with any other layout then the standard US layout. In Version 4 I'd placed a special .xmodmaprc in the $USER directory but now when I try this I've got an very strange layout. Also any attempt to edit the file /usr/openwin/etc/keytables/keytable.map resp. $USER/.keytable did not work. All other Sun Type 6 or Type 7 keyboards working perfectly. Did you have any Idea how to get this keyboards working?
