Some kind citizen rewrote this tool in a platform-independent manner
(perl?) but I can't seem to lay my hands on it, nor find the message in
the archives.
Can somebody please resend it and I'll be happy to add it to the Wiki
(although as noted I'm not a perl expert so I'm not likely to maintain
that version, unfortunately).
I'm going to have to re-whack the script substantially when GDM 2.24
integrates, since unfortunately state becomes even more distributed (due
to ConsoleKit). That's slated for snv_124 I believe (which means after
OS2009.06 but before the next release).

Did you run isGdmSyncedWithSRSS -vp? I don't see output in previous

Ermm... no, haven't seen that script - where is it? what does it do?
Just checked the Wiki again and can't see it - did I miss something?
