-A does not give out IP by default, as it's for LAN based connections that assume you already have DHCP Server. You'd have to answer N to accept as is prompt if you want to give out IP/Subnet/router/etc

What were you trying to do when the problem occurred, and what does
the actual error message say?

Have you installed the DHCP server packages?  They aren't in the initial
OSol install.  You need to get them separately, by running:

    pkg install SUNWdhcs SUNWdhcm SUNWdhcsb
I did the package install, 6 from the commandline as listed in the James Legg blog. I did utadm -A <mysubnet> and I everything seemed to work, but there are no macros relative for my subnet, so my sunray's never get ip, just sit at code 21.
