Sorry if I missed a few points in what I am trying to achieve, I think
speaking a foreign language for so long now has left me deferred
linguistic capacity when using the English tongue!
Since we are going to have to be going through 2 servers, the SRSS
server which I am assuming will have to be something like a dual quad
core Xeon, something like a Sun Fire X2250 so that's no problem at all.
However in the Win department I am wondering what the system specs
should be.... therefor in my mind is to acquire two similar spec
machines as suggested above, one with either Linux in the form of CentOS
5.4 or a version of Solaris (meaning 10 or OpenSol) and MS Server 2003/8
on the second machine.
Although the question has to be asked if the Win connector for SRSS and
the rdp protocol can handle the software packages, ie the 3D and
animation stuff or if a separate physical workstation is required
running Win XP or later??
