I use PIV-type smart cards [Oberthur] that worked with W2K3 but failed
with W2K8 + SRSS 4.2 [it did work with SRSS 4.1]. I have a case open
with Sun to address this. I think the problem lies with SRWC while Sun
currently thinks it's with PC/SC. I've sent core files and a shim log
so that should be enough to determine the root cause.
Sure. Aladdin (SafeNet) Etoken Pro 32 and Etoken Pro 64.
Both work perfectly
to logon to Windows 2008/2008R2 using Microsoft Clients
(5.x - 7.0) and even
with Linux rdesktop 1.6 (it has some other issues with
2008R2, but smartcard
logon works great!).
BTW, today I want to test smartcard logon using SRSS 5
with new Windows
Connector.
