Hi Damien,
Analog headset correct? Can you let us know where the XP is running?
(VM/Physical). Hypervisior type? And finally SRSS
(VM/Physical(Sparc/X86)).
Need as much info as possible so I can pass it along, check against
known issues.

I've applied all patches to SRSS, SRWC and the Windows tools, but I'm just
getting static when recording audio. I've tried this on a Sun Ray 270 and 2FS
(GUI4.2_140993-03_2010.06.21.19.00 firmware). Is anyone else seeing the same
issues? (Windows XP SP3 client)
Thanks,
Damien

Subject: [SunRay-Users] Audio input feature
Due to the confusion over enabling smart cards for the OVDC, I thought
I'd share a few tid bits about the new audio input features since folks
like us rarely RTM (and really, where's the fun in that?). By default,
Audio input is off.
In addition to applying all the patches (SRSS, SRWC, Windows Tools),
there's a new uttsc argument required -r soundin:(low|medium|high)
If you get an error message that states something to the effect of
"Another application is recording audio, please stop that application",
it's most likely that you did not supply the -r soundin:(low|medium|high)
This argument will also have to be added to the arguments section of the
SWRC Session under kiosk mode.
