I looked at the utauthd on my machine. It looks like it's started by...
/etc/opt/SUNWut/jre/bin/java -client auth.utauthd.utauthd
(which is a call made from /opt/SUNWut/lib/utauthd)
If I do...
sudo /opt/SUNWut/lib/utauthd
I get...
Exception in thread "CallBack0" java.lang.NullPointerException
at auth.utauthd.CallBack.run(CallBack.java:88)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619)
Probably since utauthd is already running on my machine.
If there's anything you'd like to compare with my working
installation, just ask.
