>From a support standpoint, moving targets are more difficult to support. Many distros tend to release frequently, and it takes time to do full integration testing. Also, it's more for support to deal with I think; it's simpler if the number of variables are more limited. That said, I would love to see additional platform support. I think Oracle could pick up Ubuntu LTS, since it should be similarly stable when compared to SuSE and RHEL.
