At the moment we have a CentOS 5 Sun Ray server in kiosk mode which
redirects Sun Ray sessions to either Windows terminal servers (using
uttsc) or Debian 5 Sun Ray servers (using utswitch).
We decided to give CentOS a try as we had/have some problems with the
Sun Ray server software under Debian. We are still impressed how easy an
SRS installation can be on a supported OS / equivalent OS. ;-)
As our file servers are running Open Solaris / Solaris 11 Express this
would be an alternative for us.
It would be really interesting to know whether Oracle Linux 6 or Solaris
11 is the prefered OS for SRS in the (near) future.
