Two days ago I upgraded to Solaris 11 and installed SRS 5.2, previously using SRSS 4.2. Now, several times each minute, my display will freeze for several seconds while one screen is repainted slowly. In fact, it froze four times while I was writing the previous sentence.
It is almost impossible to work like this. I assume this is bug 12577446. If I uninstall 5.2 and reinstall 4.3, will that fix the bug, or is it in the firmware? I don't think the DTU will automatically fall back to an earlier firmware. I work from home on this machine and I am concerned I will have trouble doing my job. Is there a workaround? I guess I could call up Oracle and inquire about the price of a home-user support agreement, but I get the chills just thinking about it. Many thanks, Marty
