If you have Sun Keyboard, what does stop+v report? How do you know you
have the GUI menu? Stop+C would clear any configuration.
If you setup a private interconnect and use a small hub or crossover
cable, you can put any firmware on there since the Sun Ray Server will
control the DHCP and use vendor class tags.

Tried Ctrl + M on both a Sun keyboard and standard USB pc keyboard.. No
dice.
is there a way to push a config out to disable the gui menu?

Only if it's loaded, and only if you have a Sun Keyboard with a stop
key. ;) Ctrl+Pause+M otherwise.
Stop V or Ctrl+Pause+V will display the version.
Stop C or Ctrl+Pause+C will clear out any information entered in the
GUI FW, that is of course, if it's loaded.
There's is no "factory reset" per se, there's just loading firmware.
Worst case, you can set up a private interconnect and load firmware
on this unit.

*Subject:* [SunRay-Users] Sunray 2fs reset to factory
I have a Sunray 2fs I picked up off Ebay that is manually
pointing to a
server I do not have. Machine boots up ok picks up DHCP then
goes onto
look for a 66.22.x.x. address that isn't even on my network.
Tried the
shift + props keys, tried ctrl M ctrl S.. Can't seem to get a
GUI Menu
to make any changes. Is there a way to reset this thing to factory
defaults?
