You need, http://wiki.sun-rays.org/index.php/SRSS_Addon:_SRWC_Lockscreen This SRSS 4.0 add-on adds the ability to automatically lock the screen upon card removal to the standard Sun Ray Connector Kiosk session. It works by sending the Windows->l keystroke combination to uttsc when a card is removed. The xvkbd binary is installed by the install script and is used to send the keys. This lock screen will only work when you are using a card based session. Non-card sessions will only lock after the standard Windows screen lock timeout. The Windows-l keystroke is only valid for Windows 2003 Terminal Servers. This add-on
This is also valid for windows 2008. This add-on is very old, for sunday 5.# you need to rename 1200.winlock to 1200.winlock.sh, or use a symbolic link. The other problem is xvkbd, it is an old version, you need to download a newer one for your linux version. The old version does not work. Hans Varkevisser Op 11 jan. 2013, om 15:17 heeft Jens Langner <[email protected]> het volgende geschreven: Hi SunRayers, we recently installed a Windows2008R2 terminal server farm consisting of two actual terminal servers participating in a Terminal Server farm managed by one session broker. Everything was setup according to Microsoft documents and works flawlessly with the original MS "mstsc" terminal server client. Now we are about to deploy this farm to the SunRays users as well and have noticed that when trying to do the initial connection to the farm with "uttsc" a user have to enter his user credentials (username/password) twice. However, when a user is already connected to one server in the farm he is only required to enter the credentials once and will immediately login to the server where his session resists without having to enter the credentials again. The SRS version we are having installed is 5.3.1.0.05 and we are using the uttsc SunRay Windows Connector version 2.5.1. Anyone having the same problems and might have a workaround or fix at hand? best regards, jens -- Dr. Jens Langner Institute of Radiopharmaceutical Cancer Research Department of Positron Emission Tomography Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf Bautzner Landstraße 400 | 01328 Dresden http://www.hzdr.de | +49 351 260 2757 _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users This email has been processed by SmoothZap - www.smoothwall.net
