This is because you need to provide credentials as part of the uttsc
connection string.
If you're putting usernames and passwords into the Windows login screen,
it's too late. You won't get the authentication token from AD that
uttsc needs to allow reconnects and redirects without prompting for
credentials again., thus the double logon upon being redirected from the
session broker.
There's been a few discussions on this, some use a Zenity dialog, some
use Oracle VDI purely as front end to assist passing the username and
password on to uttsc.

Hi SunRayers,
we recently installed a Windows2008R2 terminal server farm consisting of two actual terminal
servers participating in a Terminal Server farm managed by one session broker. Everything was setup
according to Microsoft documents and works flawlessly with the original MS "mstsc"
terminal server client. Now we are about to deploy this farm to the SunRays users as well and have
noticed that when trying to do the initial connection to the farm with "uttsc" a user
have to enter his user credentials (username/password) twice. However, when a user is already
connected to one server in the farm he is only required to enter the credentials once and will
immediately login to the server where his session resists without having to enter the credentials
again.
The SRS version we are having installed is 5.3.1.0.05 and we are using the
uttsc SunRay Windows Connector version 2.5.1.
Anyone having the same problems and might have a workaround or fix at hand?
best regards,
jens
