As Technical manager at a radio station, and someone who's done a bit of re-mixing
himself, I'd heartily recommend Cool-edit Pro (or 2000)
It does everything the so called 'professional' packages do and more and is now
starting to be an radio industry accepted editing package. It's also VERY reasonably
priced and a doddle to learn to use...
Dunno what the rest of you lot think though, but that's my opinion...

With the remixing part of the Sreemillenium coming up soon, I was curious to
see what sort of software and hardware you guys are planning on using.
I must admit, I am a remixer from the old school - a couple of decks and a
mixing board - sometimes branching out with a sampler and old 8 track
Fostex.
Any software recommendations that are reasonably priced?
