Here are my current numbers:
Test time: 10:30 PM PST
My raw speed was 1036853.56 bits per second.
Communications: 1megabit/sec
Storage: 126.6 kilobytes per second
1MB file download: 8.1 seconds
IP address: 216.175.126.240
Your ISP: EarthLink Network, Inc.
Test site at http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest. The numbers were
even better at 11 PM. During heavy traffic times, I have seen the
speed drop to 56 and on one occasion to 23 KB/sec. We're located in
the middle of the San Francisco Peninsula and there are many ISP's
here but when I was surfing at 56 KB/sec and Earthlink came out with
an introductory $ 39/ month DSL connection, I jumped on it. I assured
my addiction in the ending days of Napster and burned 30 + CDs of
Charlie Parker, Diz and Miles and more. Cool man.

PS with the adds that follow, are they clickable in AOL? Don't you
need Web Site Name for AOL? Curious.
