Here are my current numbers: Test time: 10:30 PM PST My raw speed was 1036853.56 bits per second. Communications: 1megabit/sec Storage: 126.6 kilobytes per second 1MB file download: 8.1 seconds IP address: 216.175.126.240 Your ISP: EarthLink Network, Inc. Test site at http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest. The numbers were even better at 11 PM. During heavy traffic times, I have seen the speed drop to 56 and on one occasion to 23 KB/sec. We're located in the middle of the San Francisco Peninsula and there are many ISP's here but when I was surfing at 56 KB/sec and Earthlink came out with an introductory $ 39/ month DSL connection, I jumped on it. I assured my addiction in the ending days of Napster and burned 30 + CDs of Charlie Parker, Diz and Miles and more. Cool man. Eric PS with the adds that follow, are they clickable in AOL?
