I've put a UMAX 604e/233 from my S900 into a PM 7500 and it has been
running well, but I recently tried to add L2 cache (the machine
originally had none) and it boots up but freezes within a few
minutes forcing me to use the power off switch to free it up for a
restart. This happens both with a SimpleTech 512K and Apple 256K
cache modules. I have tried RAM reordering and CUDA resets to no
avail. Is the UMAX card known to cause problems with caches like
this when put in Apple Macs or is it something else?
