The materials freely available at that FTP site include several versions of the driver that one needs to use the card. I would like to find or cause to be made a region free hack for the Wired4DVD and I'm thinking some of that extra stuff might include clues about how to do it. The Hollywood Plus card which is supposedly the same hardware has a region free hack available for it. But I have never found anything similar for the Mac Wired4DVD card and there does appear to be a difference in firmware on the card, though, there doesn't appear to be a Flash or EEPROM chip on the card.
