Using something like HDST is not a bad idea especially if you have a non-Apple hard
drive, which typically was the case with factory installed drives in Umax machines.
This forces you to use a third party drive utility and in order to keep things
consistant, the rest of the drives can be formatted using the same. (That's why
they bundled a light version of FWB's Hard Disk Tool Kit.)
Many folks prefer to use Apple Drive Setup if they don't run into this.
Another option is to get rid of the non-Apple drive if you do want to stick with
Apple Drive Setup.
Also, the EZQuest drive could not be formatted with Apple Drive Setup and it came
with a full version of HDST, so my choice to go with HDST for everything was a
given.
