Hi Wally, Welcome to the list.
We have a c600 that came with an Asante 10/100 PCI card. It has worked with every OS from 7.6 through 9.1 on our machine. It does not get a lot of action, as we only use it for networking to our other computers from time to time. I am definitely not an expert on Asante cards, but I will give it a shot. Any descriptive info on the card? That will help you figure out if it works on a Mac/UMAX. And, what card software are us using? Our Asant card has some software that controls it. If you don't have software, you might check here for drivers: http://www.asante.com/support/os_compatability.html Nancy > Wally Babakaiff wrote: > snip... > I've become bonded with a Umax c600/180 > snip... > The upgrades to it have only been an OS8.6 with a bigger ATA HD [40gb] > and an internal Yamaha scsi CDRW.
