Hi, all these messages on fans and cooling got me interested. I have a G3 card from phase5 (300 Mhz) in my c600 (Apus 3000) with MacOS 9.1 and at times, it is running at 59 degrees C. The card has the ability, not to overclock the processor speed, but the system bus (from normally 40 MHz to up to 52,5, I think), and as the system bus is the major bottle neck in the c600s (as I understand it), this makes a huge difference. I played around with the overclocking, but the system got quite unstable, so I went back to 40 MHz. When having read the recent posts, I was wondering if the unstability of the system was in reality mainly due to the temperature, which went past 60 degrees with overclocking installed, and if building in an additional fan might remedy the situation (thus, making it possible to overclock the system bus again).
Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Nils -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
