I haven't kept up with this thread so excuse me if my feedback is off-kilter.
I am able to have a system folder in each of the following volumes in the S900 and
have no problem selecting any of them as a startup drive. Currently running System
9.1 and using HDST as the driver.
Slot 1 - Initio Miles UW SCSI and Barracuda 9.1 gb drive in three equal volumes.
One of them is my main System volume.
Slot 2 - Sonnet Tempo and IBM 60-GXP 60 gb in three equal volumes. One of them
contains a System.
WD 7200 rpm 4.6 gb Wide SCSI drive that came with the machine also has a System
folder just in case the PCI card configuration starts acting up.
