I don�t really know if it�s one of these extensions which always want to be first, i was just wondering why it�s invisible in extension manager. I remember reading somewhere about hacking drivers with ResEdit by changing their type in "get info". For example, most extensions are "inits", some are "ndrv". Changing this might effect their behavior. All i got while trying was completely disabling it.
