I'm running my trusty J700/Sonnet G3/400 (happily) under OS 9.1 after
recently upgrading to 9.1 via 9.0.4.

However, since upgrading, the F1-F15 keys on my original UMAX Supermac
extended keyboard have died. Under 8.6 at least the first four keys worked
as follows:

F1 - Undo
F2 - Cut
F3 - Copy
F4 - Paste

These macros operated for years flawlessly and universally both with ancient
software like MS Word 5.1 and also with all the later, cooler stuff (but not
in Adobe PageMill and Adobe SiteMill, for some unfathomable reason).

I've no idea who originally put the macros into the machine (presumably the
manufacturer, under System 7,), nor how it was done (presumably Apple
Script). However, upgrading to OS 9.1 has definitely zapped 'em. How do I
get them back? Do I have to use third-party macro scripting or can I simply
obtain some pre-existing resource to pop into my system folder (maybe a
prefabricated Apple Script folder)?

I've tried KeySequencer, for example, but couldn't get it to work. It gave
me a "resource manager" error whenever I tried to save a macro.

Help!

Adrian
